Job Description:

Responsibilities Include:

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a proactive and strategic approach for building talent pipelines by utilizing a diverse sourcing strategy.
  • Attract highly qualified and diverse candidates through databases, online employment forums, social media, career fairs, networking, referrals, etc.
  • Stay current on all areas that may impact recruitment (e.g., pay, employee benefits, hiring practices, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain strong collaborative and trusting working relationships with hiring managers, gaining an in-depth understanding of their hiring requirements.
  • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, universities, employment agencies, internet sites, professional organizations, and associations; provide information regarding opportunities and benefits; maintain rapport with recruitment sources
  • Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline
  • Screen candidates by reviewing resumes, job applications and performing phone screens
  • Assessing applicants’ knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions.
  • Coordinate in-person interview with hiring manage
  • Take ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements
  • Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations
  • Be an ambassador for the organization by promoting the company’s reputation as a good employment opportunity
  • Provide weekly reporting on key metrics such as pipeline statistics, diversity goals and time to fill open positions to the Senior VP, CFO

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Marketing, or a related field plus five (5) years of staffing/recruiting/selection experience
  • Demonstrated search skills and expertise in screening active candidates for exempt and non-exempt positions
  • Proficient sourcing skills with the ability to use numerous creative techniques and channels to identify qualified candidates using social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
  • Strong and current knowledge of all laws and regulations pertaining to employment selection and equal opportunity
  • Strong communications skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels within the organization and external resources
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and/or applicants
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Self-starter will can-do attitude; proactive, resourceful, and detail-oriented with good follow-through skills
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems
  • Excellent work ethic, sense of urgency, consistent sense of integrity and strident on privacy issues

Working Conditions:

  • In office
  • Occasional day trips and/or overnight travel may be required
