Schedule and Pay:

• Part Time Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-1pm, Saturday/Sunday 10am-12pm as needed
• Maximum 30-34 hours/week
• Pay Rate: $15/hour
• Possible Temp to Perm

‍Responsibilities Include:

• Perform deep clean as well as general tidy up of all areas of the building and offices in keeping with New York State and CDC guidance for preventing the spread of infectious diseases and viruses
• Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, landscaping and parking lot
• Complete daily cleaning as directed, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, waxing and dusting
• Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-up
• Handle basic maintenance, building repairs, cleaning and other janitorial work
• Uses own vehicle for morning park openings, daily mail and bank courier pick up / drop off
• Ensure doors are locked after party rentals and guests are informed of guidelines
• Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
• Perform minor repairs and notify supervisor of major repairs needed
• Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped, including ordering and restocking of supplies
• Troubleshoot issues with HVAC system, lighting and indoor climate control as necessary

Qualifications:

• Janitorial experience preferred
• High school diploma/GED required
• Strong attention to detail, thoroughness in every aspect of work
• Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary
• Knowledge of cleaning tools and sterilization methods
• Capacity to take direction and flexibility
• Ability to work very early morning shifts
• Self-motivated and able to work well under minimal supervision
• Must have use of vehicle for daily duties (mileage reimbursed)
• BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIRED
• VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
• USE OF OWN VEHICLE FOR DRIVING
